Dr. Umar Farooq:
Dr. Umar Farooq is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing in Bensalem, Pennsylvania since 1999. He was nominated for Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Doctor in 2023 for the sixth consecutive year. He was awarded the Physician of the Year Award in 2022 by Jefferson Health Systems. He was also awarded the APPNA “2021 Humanitarian Services Award” by the Association of Physicians of Pakistani-descent in North America. He is affiliated with multiple residency programs. Resident doctors from the local hospitals regularly rotate at Knights Medical Associates. Besides, Dr. Farooq also has a well-structured observership and clinical elective program for foreign medical graduates to help them learn about the United States Healthcare System.
